Where we are now

We are already operating, working directly with parents. Their feedback helps us develop a service around real family needs.

Our next steps

We want to expand our team, strengthen referral coordination and acquire a CIC-owned electric people carrier, with further fleet growth guided by demand.

Future partnerships

We welcome conversations with schools, SEN organisations and local authorities. We intend to pursue relevant provider registration and commissioning opportunities as we develop.

Our coverage and ambitions

Our planned coverage includes Bexley, Southwark, Greenwich, Dartford, Havering and Westminster. We welcome enquiries beyond these areas from families and local authorities wherever we can deliver suitable, reliable support.

Availability depends on individual needs, travel distances and staffing capacity.

Bexley service

Our registered office and Bexley base.

Experience and accountability

Safe-Journey has two directors, Ade Salami and Anthony Wickliffe, who are not related. Ade brings community support experience gained through Ikija Care, alongside Safe-Journey’s own work with children and families.

We aim to monitor participation, progress towards individual goals and feedback from parents as our programme grows.
